The Sussex Autistic Society has, as of 6th July, ceased trading.
The general economic climate, the loss of West Sussex commissions and Trust donations being ever more difficult to achieve have sadly resulted in this situation.
The Executive Board has worked tirelessly to avoid insolvency but, after taking expert advice, it has become apparent that there is no immediate way forward to save the society.
We understand this is devastating news, especially to those of you who use the society's services. Please be assured that where possible, assistance with transition to a new service provider will be given. Families should also contract their social worker.
