The Learning and Skills Council (LSC) has announced the launch of a new £75 million initiative to help lift low-income families out of poverty.

The scheme is open to half a million families in England with one partner in work; an annual household income of £20,000 or less per year; a child or children aged 14 or under; and a child or children aged 18 or under with disabilities.

outreach bursary packages

Due to some generous trust donations, we are able to offer Outreach Bursary Packages to families caring for an individual with autism.   These packages include full assessment and behaviour management advice which is accompanied by ten four hour outreach sessions for twelve families.

Packages are available across the county and are intended for families who do not already, nor have previously, accessed the outreach service.

early bird plus

WSCC Educational Psychology Service and the Inclusion Support team are licensed to run the National Autistic Society Early Bird Plus programme.  The children must be between aged 4-8 yrs old.

We support people with autism and Asperger Syndrome with shopping, personal care, filling in forms, finding and applying for work, paying bills and managing money, appointments, understanding people and social situations, using public transport, activities, building confidence and making friends - contact us for details.

free places for parents at our workshops

Sussex Community Foundation has kindly donated funds to allow our parent members to attend our workshops free of charge. There are 50 places available and they will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. All workshops currently run in Arundel and fit in with school hours - contact us to book a place.
